Slow Horses recap, Season 5, Episode 2: 'Incommunicado'
There's only one word to possibly describe such a terrific installment: dayenu.

A review of this week's Slow Horses, "Incommunicado" — with spoilers — coming up just as soon as I pay the idiot tax...
Waaaay back in the day, a fantastic Lost episode aired in the middle of the Jewish holiday of Passover, whose traditions include a song called "Dayenu," where we list all the miracles God performed during the story of the Exodus. After each miracle, we say Dayenu — as in, if God had only done that one thing, it would have been enough. That Lost episode was so overflowing with cool ideas and moments that I felt I had no choice but to list them, and to say Dayenu, to acknowledge that if an episode of TV had any single one of them, it would have been enough. All of them together? We should be so lucky. Periodically, I would break out this gimmick for a similarly wonderful episode, even ones that aired nowhere near Passover.
That includes "Incommunicado."
