The first two episodes of The Lowdown spent a lot of time detailing all the ways that Lee Raybon can be the most exasperating man on the planet. "Dinosaur Memories" has to spend a lot of its running time continuing and/or explaining various plot points in the conspiracy Lee is trying to untangle. But it's just as concerned with underlining two key points that help explain why people — including us in the audience — not only aren't repelled by all his irritating ways, but are often genuinely charmed by him.
The first is that he's a girl dad.
The second is that this sonuvabitch knows how to tell a story.
